To Van Kao is a DJ, producer and vocalist who draws her influences from electro, techno,
grime, UK bass and deconstructed club music.

She was able to regularly reveal the extent of her influences on the airwaves of Rinse France
or within Paradoxe Club, an ambitious and innovative collective and label.

By joining the
wave of the new French electronic scene, To Van Kao and the other members who make up
the crew (Birol, Le Dom, Sunareht & De Grandi) are shaping a new uninhibited club aesthetic
and regularly prove it on the most beautiful scenes from France (La Machine, Le Sucre,
Positive Education, Peacock Society, Badaboum…).

After having roamed the clubs and dance floors of the capital as a DJ (solo or with Paradoxe)
To Van is preparing to reveal her talents as a producer and singer via a multitude of
projects.

Her first tracks oscillating between techno, electro, industrial and even synthwave
will be released throughout the year (“Plasma Pen” on 02/15, “From Me to unknown” on
03/03) A featuring with Unklevon was also released on Boys Noize Records in December
2022.

Finally To Van is behind the creation of Otto Diva, a Techno/New Wave group focused
live with Le Dom. The duo will release their first singles and a first music video in early 2023.

With the idea of building ever more bridges within club music, To Van Kao has reconnected
with traditional Vietnamese music and produced edits based on samples from the latter.

In this process, she also learned to play an instrument rare in Europe, the Dan Bau, which will
be found in some of her future productions.
